…is a blog about working in the nonprofit sector – the good and the bad. I have been itching to write about my nonprofit experiences for some time, and now I’ve found my unique perspective.
It’s not always easy, but nonprofit work is worth doing. It’s not the most financially rewarding career, but the real value lies in bringing good to the world. That is, when bad management, limited resources, and and overwhelming workload allow you to be effective and successful – not as common as you might think, but somehow, we pull it off.

In the past, I have served the nonprofit sector in fundraising, programmatic and government relations roles, working for organizations in health care, scientific research, youth development, social services, international relations, and in Congress.
